Tether and investment firm Fasanara Capital have launched StableFund, a $400 million credit fund that uses stablecoins for settlements. The fund aims to provide financing to small and medium-sized businesses and consumers through fintech platforms in over 60 countries.

Fasanara will manage the investments, while Tether will serve as an adviser and source financing opportunities linked to USDT. The company will also provide infrastructure for stablecoin settlements and moving capital between traditional financial systems and digital assets.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that StableFund is turning Tether's origination network into a direct channel for capital to flow to businesses and communities in need. Fasanara Capital CEO Francesco Filia added that the partnership will make real-economy lending more efficient and facilitate cross-border capital flows.
