Teucrium's 2x Short XRP ETF Delayed Again
The Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF has been delayed for the 19th time, with its new launch date set for October 11, 2026. The fund is designed to pay investors when the price of XRP falls, using contracts with trading firms that pay out when the price drops.
The ETF's mirror image, which pays when XRP rises, has been trading since April 2025. This latest postponement marks a new development in the ongoing saga of this fund, which has been delayed multiple times without explanation from Teucrium.
XRP peaked at $3.65 in July 2025 and is currently trading near $1.37, resulting in a drawdown of over 60%. Despite this decline, money kept flowing into ordinary XRP funds, with cumulative inflows since launch standing at $1.70 billion.
