Teucrium's Short XRP ETF Hits 19th Delay as Launch Date Slips Again
The long-awaited short XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Teucrium has hit another snag. According to an unconfirmed report, this is the 19th postponement of the product's launch date. The latest delay comes despite ongoing regulatory engagement and amendments to the issuer's registration documents.
The proposed short XRP ETF would seek gains when XRP falls and losses when it rises, essentially offering inverse exposure to the asset. However, no prospectus, investment objective, leverage multiple, daily reset policy, or fee schedule has been verified for this product.
Teucrium's existing XXRP product offers 2x long XRP exposure through derivatives rather than physical holdings. The delay in launching the short XRP ETF has left its timeline uncertain, with no revised date publicly disclosed.
