Advocates are pushing for stronger protections against cryptocurrency fraud in Texas as lawmakers prepare for the next legislative session.

AARP, a non-profit organization that advocates for older Americans, expressed concern about cryptocurrency kiosks, which allow users to convert cash into digital currency and transfer funds quickly.

'We're worried about these kiosks,' said Andrea Earl, associate state director of advocacy and outreach at AARP Texas.
