Texas City's Wi-Fi Boosts Helium Token Prices by Up to 130%
Celina, Texas, the fastest-growing city in the US by percentage, has integrated its municipal Wi-Fi into Helium's decentralized wireless network.
This move has sent Helium's native token, HNT, surging from $0.21 to approximately $0.44, with daily trading volume spiking over 1,000% to between $38 million and $44 million.
The city's 24.6% year-over-year population increase adds over 12,700 new residents, and the integration covers key municipal locations including the public library and senior center.
HNT has a circulating supply of approximately 186 million out of a maximum supply of 223 million, providing investors with a relatively clear picture of future dilution risk.
