Thai SEC Seeks Public Input on Stablecoin Oversight
The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) has launched a public consultation on principles for regulating stablecoin transactions through digital asset businesses.
This initiative aims to mitigate risks associated with money laundering and technology-related crimes, while also enhancing regulatory oversight.
The consultation is open until September 25, 2026, giving interested parties the opportunity to submit their feedback and shape effective frameworks for addressing these risks.
