Thailand Seeks Crypto ETF Framework as Remittix Nears Listing Reveal
Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission has opened public consultation on domestic crypto ETF rules, aiming to bring digital assets deeper into the country's regulated capital markets. The proposal addresses standards for foreign custodians used by Thai funds and establishes a framework for crypto exchange-traded funds in Thailand.
Crypto presales occupy the opposite end of the market from traditional ETF access, which benefits established cryptocurrencies with deep liquidity and institutional recognition. Strong candidates are now judged on working products, identifiable markets, and milestones capable of turning early attention into broader demand.
Remittix is a project targeting the connection between crypto and traditional banking through its PayFi system, designed to let users send digital assets while supported recipients receive fiat through bank accounts. Remittix has already recorded more than $50 million in volume with thousands of active users on Remittix Markets, which offers perpetual-futures trading.
The Remittix presale has raised $31.75 million toward its $36 million hard cap and attracted over 40,000 participants. The project will reveal the RTX listing date once funding reaches $32 million, leaving only a gap of $250,000.
