The Odyssey Pirated Downloads Spread Lumma Stealer Malware

Fake downloads of The Odyssey have been spreading malware through files disguised as high-quality movie releases. The malicious .exe files use familiar torrent labels such as 1080p, WEBRip, and Blu-ray to make the listings appear authentic.

Bitdefender blocked the malicious downloads and identified three domains connected to the malware: auditva[.]cyou, myroayy[.]cyou, and logmabx[.]click. The researchers warned that other filenames may also be circulating.

Lumma Stealer can collect crypto wallet data, passwords, payment details, and authentication cookies. The malware is linked to the LummaC2 family, which was previously used in at least 1.7 million information-theft incidents according to U.S. authorities.
