THORChain Unveils Native DeFi Suite with Expanded Asset Utilization
THORChain has expanded its DeFi offerings by launching the Native DeFi Suite. This suite allows users to engage in native-asset swaps, lending, and perpetuals, giving them more ways to utilize their assets within a single platform.
The suite's fee-sharing structure links part of the fees from these products to RUNE stakers, establishing a direct economic connection between the product activity and the THORChain ecosystem. This integration is one of the reasons why @THORChain's fundamentals still appear strong.
The launch of the Native DeFi Suite addresses the issue of idle Bitcoin, as most of it sits outside of DeFi. According to the source, there are currently limited ways for users to put their Bitcoin to work without wrapping or handing it over to a custodian.
