THORChain Unveils Version 3.20 With Native Monero and Zcash Swaps
THORChain has rolled out its latest upgrade, version 3.20, which includes native support for Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) swaps.
This enhancement allows users to exchange these two privacy-focused assets directly with major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and stablecoins without relying on centralized exchanges or custodial services.
The integration does not require wrapped versions of XMR or ZEC, eliminating the need for additional intermediaries and keeping the process self-custodial.
THORChain's support for Monero is particularly significant as access to XMR through centralized exchanges has become more restricted in several markets.
In addition to native Monero and Zcash swaps, version 3.20 also introduces Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL), a Stable Reserve, and renewed support for Solana, Base, and BNB.
