Thune Forces Crypto Regulation Clarity with September 15 Senate Vote

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has taken action to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, H.R. 3633, by filing cloture on the motion to proceed.

This step moves the bill one step closer to a Senate floor debate, which could bring much-needed regulatory clarity for the crypto industry.

The bill's fate had been uncertain until August, when it became clear that a vote would not occur then. Thune filed cloture shortly before the Senate departed Washington for its recess on August 8th.
