The Michigan Democrat voted against the CLARITY Act in July 2025, which aimed to establish a market structure framework for digital assets. The Senate is set to take up the bill in September.
Tlaib's disclosure shows that she purchased the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) on April 28 and May 29, 2025, coinciding with rollovers of two employer retirement plans into her Schwab accounts.
