TLT Plunges to Fresh Low Amid Rising Yields
The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) has hit a new low, falling to $81.89 on Friday and marking a fresh 52-week low.
This is a significant drop from its peak of $179.70 in March 2020, representing a loss of more than half its value.
Peter Schiff, a gold advocate and Bitcoin critic, has pointed out the damage to the bond market, stating that anyone who invested in Treasuries is losing bigly, with TLT down 6% so far in 2026 and 50% from its 2020 high.
