Token Burns and Buybacks Spark Crypto Market Revival Hopes
The crypto market remains under bearish pressure despite several efforts by underlying projects to boost demand. A wave of token burns and buybacks has been initiated by various blockchain projects, including Hyperliquid, Pump, Uniswap, and Aave.
According to data from the source, these initiatives have already resulted in significant figures: $2 billion in buybacks for Hyperliquid, 36% of supply burned by Pump, and 107 million UNI tokens burned by Uniswap. Aave has also automated its buyback process.
Aptos has taken a different approach, hard-capping its supply while increasing fees tenfold. Meanwhile, Solana's governance proposal aims to fundamentally alter the SOL economic model.
