Tokenization of Real-World Assets Market Drives LINK, XLM, ONDO Price Action
The tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) market is growing rapidly. Over the past three years, excluding stablecoins, RWA has expanded by a staggering 18.1 times to reach $44.6 million. Institutional demand for yield-bearing products is driving this growth.
Tokenized U.S. Treasury bills lead the market at $15.1 billion, followed closely by active yield strategies at $8.9 billion and private credit funds at $6.4 billion. Ethereum remains the dominant Layer 1 settlement layer, accounting for roughly one-third of the tokenized asset market.
Chainlink (LINK), Stellar (XLM), and Ondo Finance (ONDO) are closely tied to this infrastructure. LINK provides middleware through its oracle infrastructure and CCIP, while XLM offers a fast and cost-effective settlement environment. ONDO focuses on issuing and distributing yield-bearing traditional assets like U.S. Treasuries on-chain.
LINK is currently facing a major weekly test as it approaches the 200-EMA near $13.83. A breakout above this resistance could strengthen the case for a longer-term recovery, while failure could send LINK back towards lower support zones. XLM also shows a constructive setup after rising from an ascending trendline, but its weekly death cross is a warning signal.
ONDO's setup is the most fragile of the three, with its weekly chart maintaining an ascending trendline since early February. A breakdown could deepen the correction and potentially lead to new all-time lows. However, if ONDO flips its weekly 50-EMA, $0.60 and $0.85 could become relevant recovery targets.
