Tokenized Assets Explode to New Heights as Institutional Adoption Accelerates
The tokenized real-world assets (RWA) on blockchain networks have seen significant growth over the past month, according to data from the RWA Foundation.
Robinhood Chain led the way with a massive 11,416.2% increase in its tokenized asset value to $323.7 million. Larger blockchain networks like Avalanche and BNB Chain also posted steady gains, with RWA values rising 22.6% to $2.5 billion and 16.5% to $9.2 billion respectively.
Ethereum remains the largest blockchain for tokenized RWA, with more than $17 billion in on-chain value. The number of RWA holders has also increased significantly, climbing from about 375,000 a year earlier to 1.09 million today.
Tokenized Treasuries have also seen growth, with Avalanche's tokenized US Treasury assets rising 68% over the past 30 days to $842 million. Robinhood Chain surpassed 244,000 RWA holders and saw its tokenized asset value climb sharply.
