Tokenized Assets Poised to Dominate Crypto Liquidity

The market maker Wintermute predicts that tokenized assets will become the next major liquidity channel in the crypto ecosystem.

According to their report, real-world tokenized assets (RWA) have captured about $16 billion in net growth over the past year.

This is a significant figure, but almost 0.9% of the total crypto market capitalization.

Wintermute suggests that RWAs will take over the liquidity channels that supported previous bull cycles, including venture capital and ICOs in 2017-2018, stablecoins in 2020-2021, and ETFs and corporate treasuries in 2024-2025.
