Tokenized Equities Explode Past $3B Weekly as Solana, Binance, and Robinhood Chains Dominate
Tokenized equities have reached a new milestone, crossing $3 billion in weekly trading volume and $110 million in total value locked. The market has exploded in recent months, with three chains driving nearly all of it: Solana, Binance's BNB Chain, and the newly launched Robinhood Chain.
Solana was the pioneer in this space, processing roughly $5.8 billion in tokenized equity volume during Q2 2026, capturing between 95% and 97% of all global DEX trading in the category. The year-over-year numbers are staggering, with Solana's tokenized equity trading volume jumping from $1.34 million to $3.32 billion, a growth of approximately 2,400%.
The SpaceX IPO in June 2026 was a major catalyst for this growth, sending holder counts and transaction volumes surging as traders piled into tokenized representations of shares. However, it's worth noting that much of the trading activity has been influenced by memecoins and incentive programs linked to tokenized stocks.
Robinhood Chain launched on July 1, 2026, and quickly became a major player in the market, averaging $29.7 million in daily trading volume within weeks. Binance's bStocks is also reporting impressive numbers, with roughly $676.8 million in average daily DEX trading volume by late July.
