Tokenized Funds Hit $34.7 Billion as Ethereum Dominance Expands
The tokenized fund market has seen significant growth in recent years, reaching a total market capitalization of approximately $34.7 billion by early August 2026.
Ethereum continues to dominate this market, capturing about 51.2% of the entire market share with around $17.7 billion tied up in tokenized funds.
Beyond Ethereum, other blockchain platforms have gained traction, including BNB Chain with $4.8 billion and zkSync Era at $3.2 billion.
The growth of this market can be attributed to institutional interest in tokenized money market funds and government securities, as well as the increasing adoption of Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum's ecosystem.
