Tokenized Stocks Surge to $29.5B in 30 Days, Up 415% from Prior Period
Tokenized stocks have seen a significant surge in activity on public blockchains, with transfer volume reaching $29.5 billion over a 30-day period, representing a 415% increase from the previous period.
Active addresses surpassed 1.3 million, while tokenized stockholders climbed to 2.36 million during the same time frame. Ondo, Kraken's xStocks, and Binance's bStocks controlled approximately 81% of distributed equity value.
The growth in tokenized stocks is being driven by the increasing adoption of on-chain equity products across various platforms, including Coinbase, Robinhood, Bitwise, Bybit, and Arcus. These platforms are expanding their offerings to include new uses such as tokenized perpetual positions, leveraged trades, and decentralized finance (DeFi) integrations.
Despite the growth in tokenized stocks, speculative crypto spot trading has remained subdued during parts of 2026. The comparison between tokenized real-world assets and other on-chain sectors shows that tokenized equities are among the few areas exhibiting both expanding value and measurable user activity.
