Tom Lee Sees Ethereum Reaching $6,000 with Bitcoin at $150,000
Fundstrat's Tom Lee believes Ethereum is 'vastly undervalued' and could reach $6,000 if Bitcoin hits $150,000. He points to tokenization, AI agents, and institutional adoption as key drivers of growth.
Lee sees the recent rally from around $1,900 to $2,500 as a 'course correction,' rather than just a short squeeze. He notes that unlike previous bear markets, which were marked by failed companies and shrinking capital, this cycle is seeing major financial institutions build tokenized products and stablecoins expand.
The co-founder and head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors points to the increasing use of crypto rails for payments and settlement, particularly by AI agents. He notes that traditional financial rails were built for humans, not software agents making instant micro transactions.
Lee also backs Robinhood Markets Inc. CEO Vlad Tenev's call for a 'tokenization supercycle,' which could make markets faster, cheaper, and more programmable. He believes the addressable market could expand towards $500 trillion as more assets become programmable.
