TON Bridge Shutdown Leaves 11.3M Tokens Illiquid

The TON bridge at bridge-v3.ton.org permanently closed on September 1, 2026. This move ends the ability to redeem Wrapped TON tokens on Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain back to the TON network.

Despite waived fees and months of notice, over 11.3 million Wrapped TON tokens remain unredeemed, mostly on Ethereum.

Holders of these proxy tokens can no longer convert them to native Toncoin, effectively rendering them illiquid unless the operator reopens the bridge.
