TON Strategy Rakes In $15M in Staking Revenue Amid Cash Burn
TON Strategy reported a 17% annualized gross staking yield for the second quarter of 2026, earning $15 million in staking revenue. The company received 9,438,177 Gram tokens, the native token of the TON blockchain formerly known as Toncoin.
The earnings report also revealed that TON Strategy's operations burned through $10.6 million in cash during the first half of 2026, despite its strong staking performance. The company ended June with nearly $29 million in cash and restricted cash, and had no debt on its balance sheet.
The increase in rewards was primarily due to the Catchain 2.0 upgrade, which cut TON's mainnet block interval from about 2.5 seconds to roughly 400 milliseconds. This produced about 6.25 times more blocks per second, resulting in a higher token issuance rate for validators.
As of June 30, TON Strategy held 230.5 million Gram and had 229.9 million staked, representing approximately 4.4% of the total supply and around 35% of all staked Gram.
