Stablecoin settlement platforms are gaining traction among financial institutions, providing a secure and efficient way to transfer funds. According to a recent ranking, Circle Payments Network and Visa Stablecoin Settlement emerged as the top two stablecoin settlement platforms for financial institutions.

Circle Payments Network is particularly well-suited for banks, EMIs, PSPs, and remittance companies, with an annualized run rate of $14.7 billion and 175 enrolled FIs at the end of Q2 2026. The platform connects originating financial institutions with beneficiary financial institutions, covering quotes, on-chain USDC or EURC transfers, encrypted payment data, webhooks, and local-currency payouts.

Visa Stablecoin Settlement, on the other hand, is focused on Visa issuers and acquirers looking for an alternative treasury settlement. It allows selected issuers and acquirers to settle VisaNet obligations with supported stablecoins across nine announced chains.
