TORICO Adds to Ethereum Holdings, Total Now Over 2,800
TORICO, an East Japan Railway Company-listed company that specializes in comic books and anime, has added to its Ethereum holdings. The company announced on August 25 that it acquired 56.59433 ETH on August 24.
The acquisition cost was approximately ¥22,105,280 ($2,507.24), with an average purchase price of ¥39,508 per ETH. This brings the total number of ETH held by TORICO to 2,839.0265, valued at around ¥123,725,656 ($13,844,116) at current prices.
TORICO initially announced its intention to invest in cryptocurrencies in July 2025 and had planned to focus on Bitcoin. However, it later shifted its focus to Ethereum in December 2025 and has since been exploring various ways to utilize its ETH holdings, including staking and operating a hedge fund.
