TORICO Continues Ethereum Buying Spree with Second Consecutive Acquisition
TORICO, an East Japan Railway Company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Growth Market, has announced its second consecutive day of Ethereum (ETH) purchases. According to the company, it acquired 55.5772 ETH on August 25th for a total value of ¥22.21 million, with an average price per ETH of ¥39.76 million.
The company's total Ethereum holdings now stand at 2,894.6038 ETH, valued at ¥12.28 billion and averaging ¥42.35 million per ETH. Note that this figure includes staking income and other earnings.
TORICO began investing in cryptocurrency assets in July last year, initially targeting Bitcoin (BTC) but later shifting its focus to Ethereum in December of the same year. The company plans to use its Ethereum holdings for business purposes, including staking and other investment strategies.
