Tottenham's Pre-Season Win Exposes Fan Token Value Crisis

Tottenham Hotspur's pre-season victory over Sydney FC has shone a spotlight on their $SPURS fan token, which is currently trading at a significantly lower price than its all-time high.

The token, launched on the Chiliz blockchain through Socios.com, reached an all-time high of above $8 but is now priced between $0.095 and $0.14, representing a decline of around 98% from peak to current levels.

This drop in price is not unique to Tottenham's token, as many fan tokens on the Chiliz blockchain trade far below their launch-era highs. The token has a circulating supply of approximately 12.7 million out of a total 40 million and offers holders access to polls, rewards, and exclusive fan experiences.
