TradeXYZ Q2 Volume Surges 79% to $202B, Equity Perpetuals Fuel Growth
TradeXYZ, a perpetual futures platform built on Hyperliquid, has posted impressive Q2 2026 trading volume numbers. The platform saw its quarterly volume rise by 79.2% to $202.36 billion, driven largely by the explosive growth of equity perpetual contracts. These contracts, which allow traders to take leveraged long or short positions on individual stocks without expiration dates, accounted for $58.9 billion of the quarter's activity.
The bulk of this action centered around semiconductor and memory stocks, with SK Hynix contributing approximately $23.4 billion to July's trading volume and Micron adding another $8.9 billion. This growth is significant considering TradeXYZ only launched in October 2025, making its current numbers a meteoric rise.
The platform's credibility received a major boost in March 2026 when it secured an official license from S&P Dow Jones Indices to offer the first-ever 24/7 perpetual contract on the S&P 500. This move allowed TradeXYZ to expand its product offerings, which now include over 100 markets spanning US and Korean equities, commodities, and foreign exchange pairs.
