Travala Teams Up with Shangri-La Group for Crypto-Friendly Bookings
Travala, a platform for booking hotels and travel services that accepts cryptocurrency as payment, has entered into a partnership with Shangri-La Group. The collaboration allows Travala Concierge clients to book Shangri-La properties worldwide using cryptocurrency and receive benefits through The Luxury Circle program.
The partnership was announced on September 9th, and it marks an expansion of Travala's services, which were created in 2017 with the aim of providing a simple and convenient booking process fully integrated with modern blockchain technologies.
Travala operates based on its own token, AVA, which users can use to pay for services on the platform. The platform also offers a loyalty program that allows users to earn rewards for each booking, which can then be exchanged for additional services or discounts.
