Trezor Customers' Data Exposed in Logistics Partner Breach
Trezor, a well-known maker of secure cryptocurrency hardware wallets, has confirmed that a breach at its shipping partner ShipMonk exposed the personal data of over 13,000 customers.
The breach affected orders placed in certain countries between May 10 and August 8, but new information suggests earlier orders may also have been compromised.
The exposed details included names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping addresses for 11,742 customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal. An additional 1,947 customers had their names, home cities, and email addresses exposed.
Trezor assured customers that its own systems and devices remain secure but warned that affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
