Trezor has implemented clear signing through the ERC-7730 standard on its Safe wallets. This feature allows users to decode smart contract transactions and view the actual action, tokens, amounts, and destination on their device screen instead of a raw hash.

The adoption of ERC-7730 is gaining traction as a solution to the challenge of blind signing, which has plagued crypto transactions for a long time. Blind signing refers to the act of approving a transaction without being able to confirm that the description on the computer matches what the transaction really did.

The Ethereum Foundation launched the Trillion Dollar Security Initiative in May, and Trezor's implementation of clear signing is an extension of this effort. The feature works automatically through Trezor Suite, WalletConnect, and Trezor Connect, and it supports major protocols such as 1inch, Aave, Lido, Tether, LiFi, and Hyperliquid.
