Tria Connects Tokenized Assets Across Chains With Robinhood Integration
Tria, a self-custodial neofinance platform, has integrated support for Robinhood Chain, allowing users to hold and move tokenized assets across chains. This integration brings real-world assets onchain at scale, enabling users to manage supported assets alongside other holdings within Tria.
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built using the Arbitrum platform, designed to bring real-world assets onchain. The network launched its public mainnet on July 1st and has seen significant activity, with tokenized equities averaging $29.7 million in daily decentralized-exchange volume for a seven-day period in late July.
Tria's BestPath routing technology automatically determines cross-chain routes behind the scenes, removing the need for users to manually select bridges or manage gas tokens. Supported Robinhood Chain assets can also be routed through Tria to top up the Tria Card, which operates in over 150 countries and offers up to 6% cashback on eligible purchases.
Vijit Katta, Co-founder of Tria, stated that 'tokenization becomes much more powerful when assets can move freely beyond the environment where they were issued.' The integration is live on Tria beginning today, providing users with a self-custodial way to connect tokenized assets to their broader financial lives.
