Tria Connects Tokenized Assets Across Chains with Robinhood Chain Integration
Tria, a self-custodial neofinance platform, has integrated support for Robinhood Chain, allowing users to hold and manage tokenized assets across chains. The integration enables users to move assets between chains without manual intervention, using Tria's BestPath routing technology. This feature connects the Robinhood Chain network with Tria's global payment ecosystem and allows supported assets to be topped up on the Tria Card for everyday spending in over 150 countries.
The Robinhood Chain network was launched on July 1st as an Ethereum Layer 2, built using the Arbitrum platform. It has seen significant activity, with tokenized equities averaging $29.7 million in daily decentralized-exchange volume during a seven-day period in late July.
Tria's integration aims to increase the utility of tokenized assets by connecting them to users' broader financial lives. According to Vijit Katta, Co-founder of Tria, 'Tokenization becomes much more powerful when assets can move freely beyond the environment where they were issued.' By removing the need for manual bridge selection and gas token management, Tria's BestPath technology streamlines cross-chain asset movement.
The integration also enables users to route supported Robinhood Chain assets through Tria to top up their Tria Card, which offers up to 6% cashback on eligible purchases. This connection preserves the self-custodial model of Tria and eliminates the need for collateralized loans against users' portfolios.
