Triple-A Stablecoin Firm Discloses Breach Affecting Its Own Assets
Singapore-based stablecoin payments firm Triple-A has disclosed a breach of its own assets held in wallets, not client funds. The company said unauthorized access was contained without affecting customer money.
The incident occurred on July 25, and the company identified it the same day. According to public Ethereum flows, an address received 5,287 ETH across 12 transfers between July 24 and 25.
Triple-A stated that client funds are held separately in trust accounts with safeguarding institutions and were not exposed. The company has not disclosed the size of its treasury loss or explained how the wallets were accessed.
