Triple-A Suffers $11.8 Million Crypto Heist
A major cryptocurrency heist has shaken the digital asset ecosystem after hackers stole nearly $12 million from hot wallets belonging to payment company Triple-A.
The attack, which lasted over a day, targeted multiple blockchain networks including TRON, Ethereum, TON, Solana, and Bitcoin. In the initial phase, hackers withdrew over $9.3 million across various blockchains, with all stolen assets being exchanged and transferred through cross-chain bridges to Ethereum.
The attackers consolidated their funds into a single wallet on Ethereum, where they held approximately 5227 ETH. Analysts note that during the incident, incoming deposits to Triple-A addresses were instantly under the control of hackers.
