Triple-A Suffers Devastating $11.8 Million Treasury Hack Across Seven Blockchain Networks
Singapore-based stablecoin payments infrastructure provider Triple-A has fallen victim to a massive cybersecurity breach, losing $11.8 million from its corporate treasury wallets across seven blockchain networks.
The attack, which lasted for over 31 hours, involved highly sophisticated hackers who systematically drained assets from Triple-A's hot wallets holding the company's proprietary digital assets.
According to on-chain forensic investigator Specter, the attackers initially extracted $9.3 million by bridging funds across multiple chains, including TRON, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, and The Open Network (TON) into the Ethereum ecosystem.
The bleeding did not stop there; over the subsequent hours, the attackers secured an additional $1.8 million via Bitcoin and TRON withdrawals, pushing the total corporate loss to $11.8 million.
