TRM Labs Valuation Doubles to $2B After AI Expansion
TRM Labs has doubled its valuation to $2 billion after closing an extension to its Series C round, fueled by investor appetite for its expanding AI business.
The San Francisco-based blockchain intelligence firm raised $70 million in February 2026 as part of its Series C funding, led by Blockchain Capital. This push brought TRM's total funding to $220 million and valued the company at $1 billion at the time.
Celebrating its entrance into the unicorn club just six months ago, TRM Labs has shifted its focus from blockchain forensics to a broader mission of mapping online crime with an emphasis on fraud and scams supercharged by AI. The company's new platform targets AI-driven scams such as deepfake-powered social engineering, AI-generated phishing at scale, and sophisticated fraud schemes that can be orchestrated by one person.
TRM Labs has reported annual revenue growth exceeding 150% over the past five years and maintains a database of over 2.4 billion labeled addresses linked to illicit activities across more than 180 blockchains. The company serves law enforcement and national security agencies in over 50 countries, alongside major financial institutions like Coinbase and PayPal.
