TRON Activates Proposal 107, Adds Ethereum Features and Passkey Support
TRON (TRX) has activated Proposal 107, bringing Ethereum's Prague and Osaka features to its virtual machine. The upgrade also adds native P-256 verification, which can support passkey-based wallets.
The changes were implemented in the GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 release before Proposal 107 reached governance. The proposal documentation on GitHub says the change activates network parameters 95 and 96, which switch on Prague- and Osaka-related functionality for the mainnet.
Developers will benefit from expanded support for newer Ethereum behavior without requiring as many network-specific adjustments when moving applications to TRON. This reduces one layer of migration work.
