TRON Contract Audit Clears USDD of Any Malicious Functionality
The USDD stablecoin, which runs on both TRON and Ethereum blockchains, has undergone a contract audit that revealed no malicious functionality. According to the results shared by Justin Sun, the burn function for USDD requires user authorization, and minting is strictly limited to approved system contracts tied to collateral in the Vat module.
The lack of freeze, blacklist, pause, drain, or reallocate functions on the contract ensures that governance cannot seize or freeze individual wallets. This setup maintains USDD's peg to the dollar through on-chain reserves rather than relying on admin overrides.
