Tron Enters US Market as First TRX ETF Goes Live
Tron's native cryptocurrency, TRX, has made its way into the US market as the first TRX ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) went live. The Canary Staked TRX ETF, issued by Canary Funds, began trading on the Chicago Stock Exchange and Cboe under the ticker TRXS.
This development allows institutional investors in the US to gain regulated access to TRX through traditional firms offering support for the product. According to Justin Sun, Tron's founder, the network has kicked off to a good start with this launch.
The Canary Staked TRX ETF provides exposure to the spot price of TRX and allows investors to generate additional returns through staking. This is particularly relevant to investors interested in venturing into Tron's role in payment and settlement infrastructure.
