Tron Founder Accuses Trump-Backed Crypto Firm of Massive Scam

Share

Justin Sun, one of the richest people in the world and founder of Tron, has accused World Liberty Financial, a company backed by Donald Trump's family, of fraud.

Sun invested $30 million in November 2024 after being pitched on World Liberty's vision for a decentralized crypto ecosystem. He was given billions of yet-to-launch WLFI coins as part of the deal.

However, Sun alleges that World Liberty failed to deliver on its promises and instead used investor money for personal gain. The WLFI cryptocurrency crashed, leaving many investors with significant losses.

Sun has filed a lawsuit against World Liberty alleging fraud and breach of contract.
