TRON Network Activity Surges in Q2 with Record-Breaking TVL
TRON's network activity surged in Q2 of 2026, with significant growth across various metrics. The total value locked (TVL) on the network reached $28.15 billion, an increase of 8.27% from Q1 and a 16.9% surge from 2025. TRON also processed 1.1 billion transactions during the quarter, a 12% rise compared to the previous quarter.
The growth in network activity was driven mainly by higher token transfers, better contract interactions, and TRX transfers. The number of active addresses on the network increased to 16.4 million during Q2. New user acquisition and active addresses both saw an increase, with active users rising 14% year-over-year amid environment integration and collaborations.
TRON's stablecoin ecosystem continued to play a crucial role in network activity, with $89 billion in stablecoin supply and $2.08 trillion in stablecoin settlement volume. The network generated $722 million in protocol income during the quarter, an 18% increase from Q1. This growth was primarily driven by greater use of staking for energy, which allowed network participants to use staked energy to facilitate transactions and decrease transaction costs.
