TRON Sets Record Transaction Activity in Q2 Amid Institutional Adoption
TRON has seen record-breaking activity on its network in Q2 of this year. According to Messari and Nansen, two leading platforms in blockchain research and analytics, TRON processed an average of 11.8 million transactions per day, with a total of 1.08 billion transactions throughout the quarter. This marks a new quarterly record for the third consecutive quarter.
The network also saw its highest single-day transaction count on June 15, reaching 14.6 million. Average daily active addresses climbed 11.7% from Q1 to 3.6 million, another record. TRON's institutional and regulated access widened as Securitize issued its first asset, a tokenized credit fund, and OKX Europe listed MiFID-compliant TRX expiry perpetuals.
Nansen's report highlights the expansion of TRON's cross-chain footprint through integrations with LI.FI and Jumper. This has improved interoperability with other chains, allowing for seamless bridging of assets into TRON's ecosystem. The network's progress on post-quantum security is also notable, with the activation of Falcon-512 and ML-DSA-44 signatures on the Nile testnet.
