Tron Surpasses Ethereum as Largest USDT Host

The Tron ecosystem has continued to thrive in Q2, with its stablecoin market cap reaching a record $89.2 billion, driven mainly by USDT activity.

The project surpassed Ethereum to become the largest host of USDT, accounting for almost 99% of all stablecoins on the chain.

A new gasless feature allowed fee-free transactions without paying TRX, spurring adoption in emerging markets and capturing 52% of sub-$1,000 transfers amidst native-issuance chains.

Tron also registered record daily activity for the third consecutive quarter, with average daily transactions hitting 11.8 million and active addresses growing to 3.6 million during Q2.
