TRON Surpasses Ethereum as Largest USDT Stablecoin Hub

TRON has solidified its position as the largest network for Tether's USDT stablecoin, holding $87.9 billion in circulation and processing $2.1 trillion in transfers during Q2 2026.

This surpasses Ethereum's $78.7 billion USDT supply by over $9 billion, reflecting a shift towards TRON's faster and cheaper network.

While TRON's overall transactions and protocol revenue grew, its DeFi activity showed declines, with a 1.9% drop in total value locked and a 21.7% fall in decentralized exchange volume.
