Tron Ties the Knot with First Staked ETF
The Tron blockchain has made significant strides in recent years, and now it's getting a new way to tap into its network through traditional markets. The first staked exchange-traded fund tied to Tron is set to hit the US market on Wednesday under the ticker symbol TRXS.
The Canary Staked TRX ETF will give investors a new way to gain exposure to the blockchain's token, and it includes the potential for more TRX through the network's proof-of-stake process. This means that those staking rewards will be reflected in the fund's net asset value.
The Tron blockchain is widely used for stablecoin transfers because of its cost and efficiency. As stablecoin adoption continues to grow globally, Tron has become a critical piece of the infrastructure powering digital asset payments and settlement, according to Canary Capital CEO Steven McClurg.
