TrueMoney Embeds THBT Wallet in App with Fireblocks

Thai e-wallet TrueMoney has partnered with Fireblocks to integrate the THBT wallet into its app, expanding access to blockchain-based payment functions. The pilot, part of the Bank of Thailand's Enhanced Regulatory Sandbox, allows users to purchase digital coupons and swap their Thai Baht-referenced digital value unit for other supported assets.

With Fireblocks' infrastructure supporting over $16 trillion in transfers and 750 million wallets, the project is testing whether consumers can use blockchain-based tools without dealing directly with seed phrases or separate wallet applications. TrueMoney has 27-32 million registered users and accounts for half of Thailand's e-wallet market.
