American Bitcoin, backed by Eric Trump, reported a net loss of $57.2 million in the second quarter of 2026.

The loss was primarily due to an unrealized loss on its digital asset holdings, amounting to $71.2 million, as Bitcoin prices remained under pressure during the quarter.

Despite this, American Bitcoin increased its Bitcoin treasury by 14%, ending the quarter with about 8,002 BTC.

The company's mining business remained strong, with mining revenue increasing 8% quarter over quarter to $67 million. Its average cost to mine one Bitcoin stayed around $36,500.
