Trump Claims He's Made Hundreds of Billions for America
President Donald Trump has made a bold claim about his financial record, stating that he has generated 'Hundreds of Billions of Dollars' from stocks and other holdings for the United States rather than himself. This assertion was made on Truth Social, where Trump defended his business interests and earnings during his second presidency. He claimed that all he does is get criticized by Democrats, saying it's 'very unfair but what can you do!'
The claim comes as scrutiny has focused on Trump's financial dealings, with Democrats raising concerns about conflict-of-interest issues. The Guardian reported in August that Trump's second presidency generated $2.2 billion in 2025 revenues for his interests, citing cryptocurrency holdings, foreign-linked business activity, and Truth Social among the sources of revenue.
In June, Trump reported at least $1.4 billion in crypto earnings on financial disclosure forms filed, with his family-linked crypto venture World Liberty Financial bringing in $799 million for him in 2025. He also earned another $636 million from his $Trump memecoin.
