Trump Coins Denies Involvement in GOLD Token Promotion
Real Trump Coins has denied any involvement in the promotion of the Solana-based cryptocurrency GOLD. The token was advertised through the company's online presence, including its X account on social media, but the posts were later deleted.
The company claims that the activity is the result of 'third-party bad actors' and is working with authorities to investigate what happened. However, concerns have been raised about the concentration of ownership in the token, with 82.45% of the supply controlled by developers and newly created wallets.
When these wallets sold their holdings for approximately $330,000, they generated an estimated $312,000 profit, highlighting the risk of concentrated ownership in cryptocurrency projects. The incident raises questions about the credibility of token launches and the importance of verifying official authorization before investing.
